He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roy, Ruby Ryberg, Allen and Ada Moon; and his brother Lance Moon.

He is survived by: his parents, Jim Moon and Eileen Moon; his wife Cindy (Tennell); his children, Suzanne Morse (Mitch), Erica Salter (Chris), Andrew Moon (Callie) and Skyler Moon (Sydney); his grandchildren, JJ, Maverick, Violet, Magnolia, Vaughn, Tillie, Vivian, Gwyneth and Theo; his sisters, Clara DeLuca (Art), Coral Moon and Shannan Moon (Amy); and his in-laws, Mike, Terry Robinson and Kathy Piper.
