Phil left this world on April 27, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ruble and Pauline Ruble; and his brother Mark (Phillip). He is survived by: his wife Mimi; his children, Laurie Michel (Michael Michael) and Craig Ruble of Santa Cruz; his grandchildren, Kayla Allen-Hooks, Anthony Michel, Chase Ruble and Cole Ruble; his great grandchildren, Henry and Harrison Allen Hooks; and his nephews, Fred Quinterno Jr. and Anthony Quinterno.
In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made in Phil's name to the 49er Rotary in Nevada City and the Nevada County American Legion.
