With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Rose Rivera of Newark, California, who passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rufino; and her siblings, William Martin, Mae Woo and Alice Boyer. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Rivera (Penny), Stephen Rivera (Karyn) and Kevin Rivera (Mounukiuoleva Finau); and her grandchildren, Alexandra (Carlos), Mikey, Kaitlin and Malia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

For their annual Christmas Boutique, Pearl sewed and crocheted many dozens of items which were sold as donations to the Convent.
