She was predeceased by : her parents, Blas Espinoza and Eufemia Espinoza; and her siblings, Geronimo Espinoza, Macario Espinoza, Petra Borrego, Maria Castillo and Sixta Vidaurri.

She is survived by : her husband Jose Maria Sotelo of Newman; her children, Eric Sotelo (Cassandra) of Stockton, Jose Sotelo Jr. (Britain) of Newman, Jaime Sotelo (Jennifer) of Newman, Rosaura Briones (Jose) of Turlock and Norma Jimenez (Ricardo) of Granada Hills; and her siblings, Jesus Espinoza of Tamaulipas, Mexico, Juan Espinoza of Tamaulipas, Mexico, Blas Espinoza of Tamaulipas, Mexico, Paula Lopez of Houston, Felicitas Garcia of McAllen and Lourdes Garcia of Lehigh Acres, Florida. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
