It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Schlegel of Newport Beach, California, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schlegel and Betty Schlegel (Molloy); his son Jonathan David; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his daughter Jayna Schimberg (Dan); his daughter-in-law Tara McCafferty; his grandson JD McCafferty; his brothers, Dan (Vickie) and David (Carol); his sister-in-law Kelly; and his nephews, Daniel and Sam.
A reception will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dan and Jayna's Home.
