With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Walter Spicer in Newport Beach, California, born in Santa Ana, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his former wife Susan Flugstad of Denver; and his sisters, Harriet Spicer Allan (Bob) of California and Carolyn Spicer Burke of Boise, Idaho.. He is survived by: his wife Dana Beck of Napa; his children, Stephen Spicer (Karen) of San Rafael, CA and Robin Spicer (Rob) of Issaquah, WA; his stepdaughter Jodi Beck Earls of St. Helena, CA; his grandchildren, Stephanie Frey (Adam) of Houston, TX, Melissa Fruechtel (Joseph) of Sherwood, OR, Olivia and Julian Earls of Napa; and his great grandchildren, Susie, Maggie, Everett, Caroline and Jocelyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church (1917 3rd St, Napa, CA 94559).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name be made to Salvation Army Napa Corps, Share The Care Napa Valley, or Molly's Angels of Napa Valley.
