William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his parents, Arthur Coombs and Patsy Coombs (Patti); his daughters, Amanda, Amie, Courtney and Cristin; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Preston and Avery.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Balboa Bay Club (1221 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA 92663).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to either the GI Cancer Fund at the Hoag Family Cancer Institute or the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
