Thomas Chadwick Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Chadwick of Nipomo, California, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermance Chadwick and John Chadwick. He is survived by: his wife Frances (Fran); his children, Mark Chadwick (Kristin), Jennifer Thompson (Darrell), David Chadwick (Laura), Alison Elder (Stephen) and Suzanne York; and his siblings, Teresa Gentry and Richard Chadwick (Maggy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel (1239 Longbranch Ave, Grover Beach, CA 93433). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (298 S Thompson Ave, Nipomo, CA 93444). A reception will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Tom's family would greatly appreciate donations in his honor to Los Padres ForestWatch, the Parkinson's Foundation, or your favorite ecological or Parkinson's charity.
