He was predeceased by : his parents, Athanasios Hroundas and Georgia Hroundas; and his siblings, John Chrountas, Eleni Papoulia and Stavroula Kotantoulas.

He is survived by : his siblings, Angelo Hroundas (Joanna), George Hroundas (Maggie), Maria Ilias (Athanasios) and Despina Manina; his sister-in-law Georgia Chrountas; and his nieces and nephews, Dimitris Kotantoulas (Terri), John Ilias, Steven Ilias, Lena Konstantinidis (Nick), Maria Makri (Bob), Georgia Tziralidis (Manoli), Litsa and Vasiliki Karagiannis (George). He is also survived by eight Grandnieces and five Grandnephews.
