With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emi Shimoyama Hino of Northridge, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Densaku Sano and Chiyoko Sano; and her husband Frank Hino. She is survived by: her children, Suzi Shimoyama (Tadashi Moody) and Todd Shimoyama (Rosemary Gutierrez-Shimoyama); and her siblings, Fujiko Yamasaki and Hiroshi Sano.
