Sakaye Kamimoto Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sakaye Kamimoto (Northridge, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2025 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sakaye Kamimoto to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sakaye may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Mitsuo Kamimoto; and her siblings, Hatsumi, Shigeshi and Yasu. She is survived by: her children, Michael and Laurie; her granddaughter Alexandra; and her pet Tami.
