“Roswitha was an interesting woman. She met and married my uncle John in the 1950s. He affectionately called her Vita. They lived in San Anselmo for a time before moving to Novato. I remember visiting them in 1965 and having dinner at a restaurant called The Iron Pot in San Francisco. Roswitha attended college getting a degree in her 40s which inspired me to do the same. She was an accomplished painter and I am fortunate to own one of her paintings. Love you, Aunt Roswitha.”
