He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Smidebush and Margaret Mary Smidebush; his daughter Jennifer Alvarez (Adam); his grandchildren, Evan and Breanna; his sister-in-law Robbie; his siblings, Kathy (Dave), Tim (Diane), Karen (Jim), Shawn (Karen), Maureen (Bruce), Chris and David; his daughter Kimberly; and his brother Michael. He was also cherished by 15 nieces and nephews.
