He is survived by: his mother Karen Van Dyke; his wife Eileen Van Dyke; his children, Gregory Van Dyke (Jamie), Melissa Bernard (Carson) and Matthew Van Dyke; his sisters, Kathy Perkins and Diane Thurman (Chris); his grandson Jordan Russell; and his nieces, Elizabeth Perkins, Amanda Thurman and Katie Thurman.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oakdale Memorial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a scholarship fund being established in Pete's memory. Additional details on how to contribute will be shared at a later date.
