It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Douglas Pratt of Oakland, California, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son James Charles Pratt. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Pratt; his children, John Pratt (MaryJane), Dorothy Pratt, Nancy Ellis, Pamela McKune (Mike), Sara Boshart (John) and Kevin Pratt (Megan); and his brothers, Clay (Donna) and Bill Pratt (Karen). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are kindly asked to be made to Clarkesville First United Methodist Church or Clarkesville-Habersham County Library for a memorial fund for, large font books with the inside reading "In memory of Charles D. Pratt". The library accepts checks or cash only for donations.
