He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Peed and Elizabeth Peed (Sheppard); his wife Janet Peed; his daughter Karen Hansel (Peed); and his brothers, Robert "Bob" Peed and Hubert Peed.
He is survived by: his grandson Bryan Hansel; his sisters, Dolly Wilson and Frances Kroener; and his son-in-law Leonard Hansel.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes (21 N 2nd St Ext, Oakland, MD 21550). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Oakland Chapel (21 N 2nd St Ext, Oakland, MD 21550).
