He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Martin and Anna Krahmer of Paterson; his former wife Marilyn; his brothers, Jay and Chris; and his grandson Aaron Rumphrey.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Kathy Rizzo (David Baluta), David Martin, Lisa Withers (Steve Sandiford) and Rebecca Poston (Bill); his grandchildren, Nick Rizzo (Kristen), Tom Rizzo (Sarah), Julie Coir, Brieanna Rumphrey, Anduin Withers (Jackie), Naomi Withers (Jim Campbell-Spickler), Laura Vegvari (Miklos), Betty Lou Poston and Will Poston; and his great grandchildren, Lorenzo Rizzo, Stella Rizzo, Michael Rizzo, Ryan Coir, Vinczent and Oliver Vegvari.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mel Catholic Church (4745 Pennsylvania Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628).

In Lieu of flowers donations to Operation Homefront.
