It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gracie Davis of Oakland, California, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lily Boston and Earnest Davis; her children, Tony Adams, Marilyn Wilson, Kenneth Wilson and Cornell Wilson; her grandsons, William Turner (Tanka) and Kenneth Shepard (Kent); and her close friend Rose Young.
She is survived by: her children, Morris Jackson, Eric Washington and Phelisha Washington (Lucy); her grandchildren, Teaira, Tony, Tina, Jonathan and Kiauna (Adams); and her children, Selena, Amorris, Alena (Jackson), Tiffany, Brandon (Turner), Kendra, Felecia, Nicole (Wilson), Erica, Chanelle, Alysia (LeeLee), Eugene, Jade (Washington), Toshia and Langston (Curry-Cooper). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family, lifelong friends, neighbors.
