With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Mae King of Oakland, California, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Potter and Emma Potter (Schmidt); her husband Leonard A. King; her siblings, Erma Heider, Alice George, Marie McLaughlin, Eugene Potter and Robert Potter; and her son-in-law David Howard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria Howard and Rochelle Strong (William) of Noblesville, IN; and her sister Evelyn Bloom (Ken). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude's Haven Personal Care Home, 1072 Mt. Airy Dr., Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Helen M. King.
