He was predeceased by: his parents, William Colvin and Catherine Colvin; his wife Bernelda Neussendorfer; his brother William; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly.
He is survived by: his children, Jay of Fargo, Jerome of Fargo, Lester (Karen) of Fargo, Wanda Hirchert (Randal) of Fargo and Peggy Green (Jeffrey) of Moorhead, MN; his grandchildren, Anthony, Brian, Jonathan, Alex, Lynda, Joseph, Timothy, Brandi, Nichelle, Kayla and Tiffany; and his brother Melvin (Jeanie) of Shreveport, LA.. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
