It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria S. Sullivan (Oakland, California), born in San Leandro, California, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Greek Vlahos (Sam) and Pauline Vlahos. She is survived by: her sister Penny Jackman; her son Peter Sam Batagios; her nephew Lance Jackman; and her caregiver Noula Vlahakis. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made in her name to the: Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension, 4700 Lincoln Ave. Oakland, CA 94619.
