With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Najat Nicola (Oakland, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nassif Saliba and Adma Saliba; and her sister Daad Shalhoub. She is survived by: her husband Nick Nicola Jr.; her children, Mark, Kristin and Kimberly; her son-in-law Anthony Bailey; her grandchildren, Hudson, Brie and Julia; and her sisters, Amal Dalack, Bahaa Nasr and Ghada Saliba-Malouf.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral (4700 Lincoln Ave, Oakland, CA 94602).
