It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul F. Schmidt of Oakland, California, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Schmidt and Marie Schmidt; his wife Joan; his children, John (Ted), Paul (Karrie), Deborah (Walter) and David; his grandchildren, Sarah (Craig), Jenny (Nick), Doug, Spencer, Sydney, Michael, George and Albert; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Addison; Heidi.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests a memorial donation to either Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org) or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
