He is survived by: his brother Floyd Benigni (San Leandro); his sibling's children, Dina (Pleasanton), Althea Benigni (Oakland) and Apollo Benigni (Concord); his great-niece Emeri; and his great-nephews, Kade Benigni (Apollo), Sebastian and Tristian Benigni Bogaards (Dina).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Main Mausoleum Chapel at Mountain View Cemetery (5000 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA 94611). A burial will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at the Mountain View Cemetery (5000 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA 94611).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
