He is survived by: his sons, Samuel (Mary Ann O'Neil) of Tucson, AZ, Bernhard (Stefanie Forscher Behrend) of Pittsburgh and Charles Behrend (Nancy Gondleman) of Denver, CO.; his grandchildren, Margot, Vanessa, Daniel, Kacy, Georgia and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Maya, Claire, Jacob, Avery and Luka; and his nieces and nephews, Celia Jane, Julie, Douglas and Richard.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh or charity of one's choice.
