With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Sanchez Martinez of Oceanside, California, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Betty Sanchez leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her son Joel Sanchez Jr.; and her father Ascension Martinez (Chon). She is survived by: her husband Joel Sanchez; her children, Ivan Sanchez, Evelyn Geiermann and Yazmin Sanchez; and her grandchildren, Penelope Consuelo Geiermann and Dominiko Mack Sanchez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oceanside Mortuary (602 S Coast Hwy #253, Oceanside, CA 92054).
In honor of Betty's memory, donations may be made to World Vision or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
