He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Oleinik and Alexandra Oleinik; and his brother Peter Oleinik II. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Elizabeth McCluskey; his children, Alexandra (Ronnie Chin), Eveleen (Lester Johnson) and Michael Oleinik; his grandchildren, Elijah Chin, Zachary Chin, Katherine Johnson and Benjamin Johnson; his niece Susan Scherk; and his nephew Peter Oleinik III.
