She is survived by: her children, Irene Stradtman of Oceanside, Nick Paris (Cathy) of Redmond and Bob Paris (Cheryl) of Oceanside; her grandchildren, Noel Stradtman (Keegan), Tisha Bloom (Willy), Jon Paris (Jane), Nichol Viton (Fernando), Kristine Birmingham and Susan Martin (Richard); her siblings, Hilda Clarke of Youghal, Ireland, John Hopkins of Wicklow, Ireland and Cecil Alan Hopkins (Vanessa) of London, England.; and her close friend Bridge (Bingo).

When she lived in Stoughton, Joan donated her time and energy to helping with several community functions.
