It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Gandolfo Spiel of Oceanside, California, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marguerite Amelia Mathews-Gandolfo and Joseph Antonio Gandolfo; her former life partner Brooks Herrick Cathey; and her husband Donald Edward Spiel. She is survived by : her children, Susan J. Ham (Terry) of Key West, FL, Sherri C. Lytle (Dennis) of Oceanside, CA and Brooks H. "Rick" Cathey, Jr. of Fresno, CA; and her grandchildren, Terry "TJ" Ham, Jr., Manami A. Lytle, Jenna A. Cathey and Shaun H. Cathey.
