He is survived by: his wife Barbara Neese Patotzka; his children, Douglas O. Patotzka and Debby Patotzka Cunningham (John Lindsay Cunningham III); and his grandchildren, John Lindsay Cunningham IV (Jack) and Megan Lee Cunningham.
He served as a Board of Director and Treasurer of the Ensemble Theater Company in Santa Barbara, and as a member of the Board of the Moonlight Cultural Foundation.
