It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Agnes Matranga of Oceanside, California, born in Frankfort, New York, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Benedict LaParne; and her husband Joe Matranga. She is survived by: her children, Josie Ridenhour (Rock), Gina Means (Gary), Lynn Darby (Cliff), Ben Matranga (Sandy), Frank Matranga (Shannon) and Sandy Douglas (Dave); and her brother Joseph LaParne. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
