He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Macabitas and Lucille Macabitas. He is survived by: his wife Rhoda; his sons, Christopher Macabitas (Tina) and Matthew Macabitas (Catherine); his granddaughters, Malia and Makana; his sisters, Evelyn Macabitas, Marlyn Nicolas and Susan Lee; and his adoptive daughter Tres Sengebau.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the North Coast Church- Vista Campus (2405 N Santa Fe Ave, Vista, CA 92084). Viewing was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eternal Hills Memorial Park (1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM.
