She was predeceased by: her father William Lawrence Sarten; her son Shawn; and her brother Dennis (Randy Potts). She is survived by: her mother Shirley Sarten; her children, Nina Lyn, Patricia (Jonathan), Troy and Joseph; and her sister Scotia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
