He is survived by: his sister Carolina Garcia; his friends, Hazel Singh, Rosie and Julian Sanchez; his wife Nancy Lefevere; his sons, Robert "Rod" Romero Jr. and Randall "Randy" Romero; his grandson Robert Romero III (Roddy); his daughters-in-law, Jenn Romero, Roddy and Babe; his children, Jennifer Vasquez, Jessica Guth, Gary Odom Jr., Courtney Zebrowski, Anthony, Alyssa Vasquez, Olivia, Max Guth, Bodhi and Bindi Odom; his caregivers, Laura Standiford and Juanita Perkins; his siblings, Frances Castillo, Ruben Singh and George Singh; Manuela and Randy Courier. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Sierra View Mortuary (4900 Olive Ave, Olivehurst, CA 95961). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Gridley Museum in Babe's hometown.
