With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Byeong Ok Lee (Ontario, California), who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Byeong Ok leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mun Hwa Lee; and her parents, Min Sang Cho and Yeh Suk Lee. She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Kim, Susan Chiappetta and Jane Lee; her granddaughter Imogen Chiappetta; and her sons-in-law, Yoonhwan Kim and Tony Chiappetta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Dogs Without Borders, an organization that supports rescue, foster, and adoption programs.
