He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Layton and Mary Layton; and his sons, Matthew and Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Smith (Wigle); and his daughters, Amy Walker (Joe) of Aurora, Missouri, Kristi Pihl (Steve) of Costa Mesa, California and Megan Layton of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
