She is survived by: her siblings, Tía, Madrina, Comadre, Jose, Pancho, Tony, Ida, Sylvia, Javier, Minerva, Delia, Ricardo, Fernando, Irma, Rodolfo, Marcelina and Socorro.
She taught pre-school for more than 17 years at San Juan, Las Palmas, and Kinoshita Elementary Schools, culminating in the city's "2018 Educator of the Year" award for her contributions to the youth of the community.
