He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Wood and Gladys Wood. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Wood; his daughter Brianna Pilkinton (Wood); his son-in-law Casey Pilkinton; his granddaughter Marley Wood-Pilkinton; and his siblings, James Wood and Francie Straw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Chapel (1888 Springfield Dr, Chico, CA 95928).
