She was predeceased by : her husband Sydney "Tom" Arands; and her parents, Serokuro Futenma and Kame Futenma. She is survived by : her daughters, Kim of Orcutt, CA and Dee of Whittier, CA; and her sister Toyoko. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
