With sadness, we share the passing of Lorraine O. Piazza of Orland, California. Lorraine, born on June 12, 1927, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mason Oliver "Ollie" and Frances Brouse. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Walker (Kevin) of Avon, IN and Karen Gilmet (Joe) of Orland; her sisters, Virginia Piazza of Grass Valley, CA, Beverly O'Saben of Westville, IN and Carolyn Pearson of Pasadena, CA; and her grandchildren, Marisa McQuaid of Avon, IN, Cory Gilmet (Orland), Joe Gilmet of Joplin, MO and Scott Gilmet of Joplin, MO. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Federated Church (709 1st St, Orland, CA 95963). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (3900 Co Rd P, Orland, CA 95963).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lorraine's memory to the Federated Church of Orland or the Friends of the Orland Free Library.
