He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Acie Van Lindt and Ella Lillian Jones; his grandparents, Grant A. Van Lindt and Jennie Elizabeth Edmonds; his sisters, Marva and Marlene; and his grandfather Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Gay Pierson; and his sister Patricia. He is also survived by his five children; his 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
