With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luisa Hocevar of Oroville, California, who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ricardo Rael and Matilde Rael (Garcia); her siblings, Angela Salisbury, Rose Chavez, Rita Anderson and Anthony Rael; and her sons, John Macedo and Gene Macedo.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Hocevar; her son Randy Hocevar; her daughter-in-law Donna Hocevar; her siblings, Richard Rael, Genevieve Reyes and Helen Giddens; and her grandchildren, Crystal and Bo Hocevar.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (435 Chestnut St, Chico, CA 95928).
