He is survived by: his significant other Alexis Burboa; his children, Avery Acevedo, Aleena, Laylah and Ethan; his mother Louise Maeyama; and his siblings, David, Benito, Camilo, Rudy, Ramiro, Cassandra, Adela, Nancy and Rocio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reardon Funeral Home (511 N A St, Oxnard, CA 93030). A rosary was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (500 N Juanita Ave, Oxnard, CA 93030). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at the Santa Clara Cemetery (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036).
