She is survived by: her children, Shannon Gates, Morgan Gates, Erin Gates and Justin Gates; her children-in-law, Mark Sohay, Jason Cooney and Kierstyn Gates; her grandchildren, Erin Cooney, McKenzie Gates Sohay and Dane Gates; her sisters, Valerie Snider and Helen Boyd; and her brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Snider and Curt Betz. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
In honor of her love for animals and compassionate spirit, donations may be made to animal charities or to City of Hope.
