He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie Mae Maddox and William L. Weaver of Seminole, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his son Gary II (Samantha); his wife Rita Duarte-Weaver; his brother David (Diana); and his godchildren, Amanda Thompson (Keven), Emmanuel Esparza, Omar and Maggie Castaneda. He is also survived by three nieces and four nephews.
The military honors will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service (757 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001).
