With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Indelecia Abara (Oxnard, California), who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Indelecia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonides; and her daughter-in-law Teresita. She is survived by: her children, Roland (Julie), Nancy (Dan), Edmund (Lupe), Mercedes (Hugo) and Melvin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Santa Clara Mortuary (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location.
