Janet May Seaton Reid Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025, at the age of 82, Janet May Seaton Reid of Oxnard, California, born in Windber, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janet has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Viola Seaton (Reeser) and John Raymond Seaton, Sr.; and her brother John Raymond Seaton. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Reid; her daughter Christine Reid; her son-in-law Alexander Brown; and her grandchildren, Dalton and Gibbs Brown.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the River Ridge Golf Club (2401 W Vineyard Ave, Oxnard, CA 93036).
In remembrance of Janet, donations may be made to Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice or the Humane Society of Ventura County.
