Though Jose may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jose touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his children, Gabriela Leyva, Lourdes Mendoza, Esteban Mora, Maria R. Sandoval, Jose G. Mora and Serafin; and his wife Maria R. Mora. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Santa Clara Mortuary (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036). A rosary was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (500 N Juanita Ave, Oxnard, CA 93030).
