With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Daniel Castanon of Oxnard, California, born in Ventura, California, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Rosas Castanon and Guadalupe Trejo; and his siblings, Refugio Castanon, Esther Castanon, Celia Castanon, Aurora C. Garcia and Manuel Castanon.
He is survived by: his wife Rose O. Castanon; his daughter Denise Castanon; his son-in-law Trevor Parker; his siblings, Robert Castanon (Mary) and Lupe "Carol" Qualls; and his grandchildren, Adela and Cruz Parker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
