She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian and Dan; her husband John; and her grandson Matthew Facto. She is survived by: her close friend Beth Sowers; her aunt Nettie; and her children, Morgan Cain, Matthew, Allison, Sandy Moore (Carl) of Alaska, Misti (Walton), Samantha (Mike), Douglas, Brian and Harriet.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Joyce Sihler's favorite organization, For The Troops.
